David S. Hefner, M.P.A.

Mr. Hefner has more than 30 years experience in the health care industry as both a hospital CEO and a healthcare consultant. Mr. Hefner is the President of the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Mr. Hefner has also served with the Penn State Hershey Medical Center for four years as their Executive Director and COO. The Medical Center is a 504-bed, 600-physician, $850 million integrated clinical enterprise serving the three million citizens of Central Pennsylvania for their tertiary and quaternary health needs.

As a consultant, he was a Senior Partner with Computer Sciences Corporation’s Global Health Solutions for 12 years and the founder/CEO of Consulting Concepts, Inc for 10 years. David’s extensive experience includes consulting to over 75 academic medical centers, schools of medicine, faculty practices, and more than 1000 private physician practices and hospitals nationwide. His capabilities include organizational transformations, rapid economic turnarounds, arbitration/dispute resolution, and information technology strategies and implementation.

Mr. Hefner received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from Brigham Young University. He has served as a panel arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, a faculty and advisory board member of Landmark Education Corporation, and competed as a Top 10 Nationals Masters swimmer.

Jack Wickens

Jack held the position of National Health Plan President for UnitedHealthcare. In 2006 Jack redirected his energies to health care charities, executive coaching and U.S. Olympic team development.

From 1998 to 2003 Jack had Regional President leadership responsibilities
for states in the South and from 1995 to 1997 Jack was the Health Plan CEO for UnitedHealthcare in Cincinnati.

Prior to joining UnitedHealthcare, Jack served as Vice President of the
HealthCare Operations for Prudential's Southeast Region. He also held the
position of Chief Financial Officer for Prudential's Southeast Region.

Jack is the Chairman of the national Board of The Wellness Community (a
support organization for people with cancer) and serves on the Boards of the
UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation and the U.S. Track & Field Foundation.

He is a founding contributor and Fellow for the Health Care Solutions Group
and is a former director for America 's Health Care Plans (AHIP) and for the
Nashville Health Care Council.

A New Jersey native, Jack is a 1978 Bucknell University graduate.

Thomas P. Barbera

Tom recently retired as Regional CEO for UnitedHealthcare’s Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining UnitedHealthcare, Tom was the Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board of Mid-Atlantic Medical Services, Inc (MAMSI), a regional, publicly traded managed health care company. Prior to serving as CEO at MAMSI, Tom served as an Executive Vice President of MAMSI and President of MAMSI Life and Health Insurance Company.

Tom was the founding father of the MAMSI Children’s Foundation, the precursor to the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation.

Prior to joining MAMSI, Tom was in the private practice of law in Baltimore, Maryland, having left public service where he served as Maryland’s Deputy Insurance Commissioner.

Dr. Reed Tuckson

A graduate of Howard University, Georgetown University School of Medicine, and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's General Internal Medicine Residency and Fellowship Programs, Dr. Tuckson is currently executive vice president and head of Medical Affairs responsible for the Company’s cross-segment leadership on clinical and medical practices.

Formerly, Dr. Tuckson served as Senior Vice President, Professional Standards, for the American Medical Association (AMA). He is former President of the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles ; has served as Senior Vice President for Programs of the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation; and is a former Commissioner of Public Health for the District of Columbia.

Dr. Tuckson is an active member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences and served as the Chairperson of its Quality Chasm Summit Committee and a member on their Committee on the Consequences of the Uninsured. Currently, he serves as Chair of the Secretary of Health and Human Services' Advisory Committee on Genetics, Health and Society. Dr. Tuckson has also held other federal appointments, including cabinet level advisory committees on health reform, infant mortality, children's health, violence, and radiation testing.

David S. Wichmann Mr. Wichmann joined UnitedHealth Group in 1998 and has assumed the position of Executive Vice President, UnitedHealth Group and President, UnitedHealth Group Operations. He previously held positions at UnitedHealth Group as President, Commercial Markets Group, which includes UnitedHealthcare and Uniprise; President and Chief Operating Officer, UnitedHealthcare, President and Chief Executive Officer, Specialized Care Services, and Senior Vice President, Corporate Development. Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group in 1998, Mr. Wichmann was a partner with Arthur Andersen. Mr. Wichmann is a board member of the YMCA of Metropolitan Minneapolis, the Minnesota Orchestra and Sedgwick CMS.
